Friulane shoes for her: models, types, colours

Beloved for their versatility and comfort, handcrafted Friulane shoes are a type of footwear you should always keep in your shoe cupboard. The models to choose from are grouped into four categories, with a wide range of colours available. Can't decide which one is right for you? In the next few lines you will find a short presentation of each model and a few tips on how to combine them for a flawless look.

The special features of the four models available

For women, Azaleri offers a variety of handmade Friulane shoe models to choose from. Wider than for men, it is possible to opt for the footwear most suited to the type of garment being worn.

The Certosa friulane, available for both men and women, are the most classic and versatile model: they lend themselves to formal and informal occasions, embellishing the outfit. You can choose between cotton, linen and velvet, as well as decide which is your favourite from a variety of colour nuances.

The Saline, on the other hand, differ from the former for their toe, which is sharper, and for the contrasting edges and stitching: more particular and in velvet, they are the perfect footwear to play down a more serious and formal look.

With Poveglia, we talk about femininity and summer. A friulane in Mary Jane style, embellished with a linen strap that passes over the instep and wraps it, immediately giving a perfect silhouette to the wearer's foot. Perfect for a stroll or an aperitif, these linen shoes are synonymous with elegance and freshness.

To conclude, let's talk about the Vignole model: an original sabot, perfect for having fresh feet without having to renounce a refined style.
The handmade stitching allows for a firm and stable fit, even if loose in the back.

All models guarantee the same performance in terms of comfort thanks to their rubber sole.

What to wear them with?

Between a moccasin and a ballerina, Friulane shoes allow you to embellish the simplest looks. You can choose your favourite from the many colours available and match them with straight-cut trousers, but also with tight-fitting jeans.
And with dresses? A classic and delicate combination, regardless of the pattern of the dress. With a wide skirt you'll feel like Audrey Hepburn in 'Roman Holiday', while maintaining a contemporary line thanks to the different materials and colours to choose from.
